I was introduced to my first American Eskimo in 1988 when I
adopted her from a friend. Bear was my
beloved companion for just two short
years before she left us in a tragic
accident. She will always have a special
place in my heart, as through her love
and devotion she introduced me to this
incredible breed and I knew I was hooked
on these majestic animals forever. I
was, however deeply wounded when I lost
my little girl and waited many years
before seeking another Eskie.

We were brought back to
the breed when we welcomed
Star into our home in early 2005. A
short time later, we welcomed a second
Eskie,
Siku. Now it’s hard to imagine our
lives without them. We have learned a
great deal from our wonderful friends
with the American Eskimo Dog Association
of Washington and from our knowledgeable
trainers. We live in the beautiful
Pacific Northwest. With just a short
drive to the beach, mountains or
farmland, we are always having lots of
fun outings with our dogs. They are very
much a part of our family and go
camping, fishing, and hiking and most
everywhere with us. If you are
interested in this remarkable breed,
they call “the dog beautiful”, sit back
and
enjoy our dogs as we do and soon you
may be as hooked as we are.

Charlie and Neva.
