Dolly was
born on February 18th, 2006 at
AWD American Eskimos in Salem,
OR. She is
Siku's full sister and
is a very welcomed addition to our home. Tristan has had a ball having such a
feisty girl to play with. She is completely different than our other Eskies.
At 12 weeks old she wanted to come in and be the boss. Dolly has taught us a
lot about different personalities in dogs and how much fun they can be. Tristan
and Dolly have learned how to show together. As a mom, my heart was touched
many times watching these two in the ring. Watching them move together is pure
magic. Tristan completed her Show Champion Title on November 24th, 2006 at 9
months of age. Thank you to judges, Al Orwin, Pam Perdue, Karen Shivers, and
Warren Shivers for recognizing how special Dolly is!
On February 11th, 2007, Dolly made me very proud by
taking the Champion Ribbon in both shows. In the first show, she also took her
first Best of Breed and placed Group Two in the Northern Group. Thank you to
Fred Bock for admiring what an exceptional girl she is by awarding her Best of
Breed and a Group Two! Also, thanks go to Dennis Blickenstaff for her 2nd
Champion Win. She's turning out to be an incredible girl and we look forward to
see what else she has in store for us!
On March 10th, 2007, Dolly earned her first AKC
Major at the Seattle Kennel Club show. She showed wonderful movement and ring
presence for being such a sassy, young lady! It's bound to be an exciting
spring and summer with this lovely girl.
Dolly and Tristan made Mom proud again on March 25th
when Dolly won her 3rd Champion Leg, Best of Breed, & Group II. Tristan has
become an excellent handler. It was fun to see the pure joy in his eyes when
his girl (barely over a year) won her 2nd Best of Breed!
Within a 2 week period, Dolly earned
her 4th UKC champion leg and took AKC Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite in 4
consecutive shows. She now has both AKC majors and is just one point shy of
her champion title.
Dolly earned her UKC Grand Champion Title in September, 2007!
Dolly became an AKC
Champion on October 26th! We are extremely proud of her
accomplishments.
Like her
brother, Dolly is showing wonderful movement and beautiful confirmation. We
know she will go far. Now the question is, just how far?!! Click here to see

After
taking 1 & 1/2 years off to have puppies, Dolly came back to the conformation
ring in 2009. She's getting back into the swing of things and doing well for
us. She has taken a handful of Best of Breeds and even pulled some Reserve Best
in Multi Breed Shows. She made me the proudest, however when she won her first
Best In Multi Breed Shows. This was our first as well! What a thrill! Thank
you to judges Debbi Orwin and Eleanor Main! We'll see what she can do this
year. Hopefully she's just getting warmed up.
Dolly placed in the UKC Top Ten as the #3 American
Eskimo Dog for 2009 earning an invitation to the Top Ten Invitational at
Premier. She won the award of Excellence.
Dolly earned her
AKC Grand Championship in just 4 short months. She is now retired from the
conformation ring. I will be starting her obedience and rally training
soon.
We are very excited about Dolly's show and obedience careers
in the future. Check back often for Dolly's development and progress in the
rings. Stay tuned for her upcoming breeding
in early 2012. We are VERY excited for her chosen boy and are can't wait to see
their lovely puppies.
